Information on the processing of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Note: This privacy policy reflects the data processing methods actually used on this website (hosting, contact form, consent-based Google Analytics). We nevertheless recommend a final legal review before going live and adaptation if additional services are added.

Data Protection Officer

2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal bases are in particular Article 6 (1) GDPR (consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest).

3. Provision of the Website and Server Log Files

Each time the website is accessed, our system or the hosting provider automatically collects data and information from the accessing device (including IP address, date and time, file requested, browser type, operating system). Processing is based on our legitimate interest in technically error-free and secure operation (Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). The website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. We have a data processing agreement with the hosting provider (Article 28 GDPR). Server log files are typically deleted after a short period of time.

4. Contact Form and Contacting Us

When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, company and your message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data will be deleted once it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Cookies and Consent

Our website uses cookies or comparable technologies. Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or § 25 (2) TTDSG. Non-essential cookies — such as for statistics and reach measurement — are only used with your consent in accordance with § 25 (1) TTDSG and Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

6. Google Analytics

This website uses — if enabled — Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and the "gtag.js" tag to enable analysis of website usage. The information generated about your use (including abbreviated IP address) is transmitted to Google and stored there.

Legal basis: The use is exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with § 25 (1) TTDSG and Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future.

Third country data transfer: A transfer of data to the USA cannot be excluded. Where necessary, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses or EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Objection / Opt-out: You can control the collection by Google Analytics through the settings in our cookie banner or install a browser add-on provided by Google: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Further information can be found in Google's privacy notice. Specific configuration: Measurement ID G-X7VP32L51Y, integrated via Google Consent Mode v2 (default setting "denied"); Google Analytics is only loaded after active consent via our cookie banner. IP anonymization is enabled.

7. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the following rights regarding your personal data vis-à-vis the responsible party:
